Whistle is a book I absolutely could not put down. It starts out moderately peaceful and slowly gets darker and more twisted than I could imagine. This book surprised me and I’ve read Linwood Barclay before! As an avid thriller and horror fan I absolutely loved this book. It starts out with an incident and then switches to the main characters, leaving you wondering how it will all connect, then Barclay starts weaving his dark web and it draws you in connection by connection. I recommended this book to my boyfriend when I was about in the middle of it. He picked it up and soon enough he was past me! When he finished it, he said he was kinda sad he was done with it. I felt the same way but there’s more books out there by Barclay for us to explore and explore we shall!
